It would be interesting to witness the reactions of the founder members of the Club back in 1861 if they could see their Club now.  I think they would be proud of a few facts :-

  • NMCC 1st XI plays in the Home Counties Premier League Division 2 (East) and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th XIs play in Saracens Hertfordshire League Divisions 3, 9, 11 & 14 respectively.

  • We have Junior teams entered in local competitions at Under-11, U13 & U15 levels.

  • Our Home Farm ground has been the venue for minor county cricket in 2006, 2007 & will be again in 2009.

  • A number of players have played at Minor County level or have played representative cricket for the MCC.

  • Andy Lewis has been captain of the Hertfordshire County Cricket Club for the past three seasons.

  • NMCC is keen to attract new Senior and Junior players at all levels.

My welcome above is not only for existing members but also to those of you who may be surfing the net looking to join a Club either as a player or as a social member.

I hope that after you investigate the information contained on our web site that you will pay us a visit and give yourself the chance to savour the family atmosphere of North Mymms. Consider this an invitation.

Best Wishes,

Andrew Craig

Secretary
